SAM-AM Before School Care is located at Glenwood School. Children from other schools will be brought to their school via Vantastic Shuttle at an additional but reduced fee (http://www.vantasticshuttle.com ).
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Hours: Every school day 7:00 am – 8:30 am. Closed on all school vacation, snow closing days and Delayed School Opening. Child may arrive at any time after 7:00.
Fees: Annual Registration Fee: $50 per child, $25 for sibling. Daily Fee: $15 per day per child, $10 per day for sibling. If your child attends both SAM AM and PM, fees are $12 per day and $9 for sibling.
Schedule: You may begin at any point of the year; occasional as well as ongoing use. You may stop and start during the year as desired. You may schedule any number and combination of days for the month. Payment and schedule is due on the first of the month. You may exchange scheduled days within the month. You may add extra days during the month. You will be billed for add-on days. No refunds or credits are given for missed days after the month end.
Program: Breakfast served upon arrival with the last hot breakfast served at 8:10. Phys Ed and tabletop activities from approximately 7:30 – 8:15. Glenwood students escorted to class lines, other students escorted to transportation.
Breakfast: Menu includes the following: We offer milk, juice, cold cereal, one hot food and a “breakfast bar” each day. The children are not limited to one item, they may eat until they are satisfied. Food variety includes: skim or 2% Milk, fruit juice, cereal – unsweetened and multigrain lightly sweetened choices, hot cereal, yogurt, bagels, English muffins, muffins, grilled cheese, waffles, pancakes, French toast, toast and granola-type bars.
Staff: A minimum of 2 staff per day, with a ratio of at least 1 adult for every 10 children. Our staff are excellent and familiar faces: Mr. John Quinn and Mr. Ken Shutte.
Start Date: SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL: Wednesday, September 8, 2010 ABOUT SAM, Inc SAM, Inc. is a non-profit corporation, licensed by the State of New Jersey and insured to perform child care services. In conjunction with the Millburn Township Board of Education, SAM began in 1995 providing school-based child care programs. All SAM staff are paid adult employees, mostly teachers and teachers aides from our township schools.
